Ansty Arms Pub Club

Message from our Pub Club Founder, Dr Tom Rowley:

Ansty is a such a lovely place to live with a great community spirit, but we lack a friendly village pub! A place to drop in as and when it suits, chat, get to know folk better, share local information/resources, networking etc… And although we enjoy our regular coffee mornings at the PYO and our Volunteer Footpaths Group does meet up occasionally – and it’s really nice to do so – we thought it would be worth extending the idea with a “virtual village pub”. Our plan is to have a fixed monthly slot at 12 noon on the 1st Sunday of the month – with our inaugural session at the Royal Oak Pub in Swallowcliffe on Sunday 4th January – to which everyone in the village is welcome.
There is no need to confirm your attendance – just turn up – but preferably with a little cash so we can all pay our way!
An invitation to join our new WhatsApp group follows should you wish to sign up, although this is primarily designed for us to send out reminders a few days ahead of our get togethers – rather than as a social chit chat forum!
Looking forward to seeing you on the 4th January and with best wishes for the festive season the meantime, Tom
For any specific queries, please feel free to contact Tom directly or email him via our Parish Clerk.
